In my opinion duplicate content is something a lot of people talk about and should not scare the average newbie with it. We all write and write blogs, articles, web pages, and some times people write about subjects using the same ideas. If you starting out in blogging or writing on the net you can go to article directories and get articles to publish in your newsletters or blogs just leave the bio/resource box in of the authors and you have wonderful content.

That is what the articles are there for and they tell you that you can use them.. Most of the time they would love for you to republish them with their name and link so they will get backlinks to your website.

I know that lots of news media gets stories and publish them from other new media. The world is full of sharing content with permission so don’t get scared off using articles on your blogs.

Another great ways is to visit websites and blogs and read what they are writing about. That is called research and everyone does research and then gets an idea and writes their take on the subject. It is not copied if it is in your own words and you wrote it with your own ideas. Just don’t ever take someone else’s work and publish it as your own. Give the author rightful credit.

The search engines want fresh content websites to send their searchers to. I know that I get tired of clicking on a link and getting some spam site instead of what information I am looking for. I know if you have used a search engine and run into this kinda of crap you backed out of their with in a second. But spammers count on use clicking in there and clicking anything on the page to get out .. and they make money off it at adsense.

If everyone would just do a little work and write something good and put it on the internet we would all be happier finding what we were looking for, the internet is the biggest research tool man ever made. Why do we want to ruin it?

Well the two hottest things that happened I can find out in blogland is that Google changed the way it looks at subdomains and are treating them as completely different domain.. which are good for us penny pincher’s. I love subdomains cause you can put your keyword in the title and you do not have to pay for another domain. So if you have a generic domain like acme.com you can have horse.acme.com and Google will treat it like horse domain.. cool huh..

The Other great new thing is a free ebook called blackbook 2.0 for 2008 at the Friday Traffic Report I don’t know quite where to send you but I think if you subscribe to his site you get to download the new book for free and it is a good deal cause it has all kinds of info on social bookmarking for traffic.
